I have written a movie screenplay and want people to read it, but I don’t want it to be stolen. Any ideas?

A ‘cheap’ way to copyright your play is to date it, sign it, and put it in a sealed envelope and mail it to yourself. Then NEVER open it unless it’s in front of a lawyer. When you find someone who wants to ‘read’ your play, they should sign a ‘non-disclosure’ agreement for you… basically an agreement that they will not discuss the contents of your screenplay with anyone but you.
